Levendiz Greek Tavern, situated near Ayios Dimitrios, Ayia Lipsi, Ayios Nikolaos holy springs against the unparalleled Bosphorus view, is the perfect place for an exquisite night out and a taste of forgotten mezethes of Greeks in Turkey.

After sunset, the drinking binge begins in the Tavern, followed by “çilingir table” where drinks and hors d’oeuvres are served… Çilingir table is set with tzatziki, Greek salad, pot of aromatic green herbs and feta sahanaki and continues with flavors including 18th century tripe mezethe, mashed fish roe, salt sardine, topic, Armenian pilaki, Aegean herbs, stuffed vegatables, tahini roasted pepper, Albanian style fried diced liver, sweetbread in butter, herb pastry, sailor’s pilaf, breaded squid and shrimp patty. Small fresh fish plates and special mastic and semolina desserts will be the last tastes delivered to your mouth.

Closed Sundays and Mondays. Early reservations are highly recommended. If Levendiz Tavern is not available over the weekends try out the Blackk Lounge in the same location.
